We've had such a great week. The year ones all designed and made Tudor houses which we all watched being burnt, comparing it to The Great Fire of London, we watched how quickly the flames spread. The fireman told us how to keep safe at Bonfire night. We then all wrote some excellent descriptive sentences about what we saw.
While the year ones were making their Tudor houses the reception children had fun counting objects such as apples and sticks in our secret garden, they had to find the matching number.
They've also had enjoyed playing in our new role play area which is set up as a doctor's surgery, if you have any toys such as a stethoscope or doctors bag, we would be really grateful.
Have a great half term!
