Pupil Voice
At Styal Primary School we have an active School Council. The representatives for Key Stage 2 are elected by their class mates in an official ballot in the hall polling station. School council members are chosen after sharing speeches about their suitablility for the position.
Our school aims to promote the British Value of democracy. We demonstrate how democracy works by discussion, decision making and voting. We feel it is extremely important that children know that their views count and their opinions are important.
Please see the School Council Report to Governors as an example of how our chidren have an impact on life at school.
