December has arrived!

Happy Friday!

This week we have been really thinking about kindness and what we can do to be a littler kinder to ourselves and others. One way we have tried to do this is by collecting for a reverse advent calendar. Quite simply this means instead of taking something each day of December we are giving something instead. All of what we collect will go to a local food bank to help those who need it most!

In addition to this, we have created a calendar of kindness, so that each day when we open the door we have to think about a new way to be kind. It's pretty tricky but will hopefully make school an even nicer place to be

We have, of course, learnt lots of other stuff too, including the story of The Queen's Hat by Steve Anthony. We changed this story so that the hat visited places near us like Quarry Bank Mill and the Trafford Centre. They sound great and we are really proud of them.

Tonight is our Christmas fair, organsed by our fabulous parents of Styal - we can't wait!
