End of Autumn half term 1
Date: 22nd Oct 2017 @ 11:21am
Friday 20th October
Well done to everyone in class 34 for a brilliant half term.
This week we worked very hard on our timetables and corresponding division facts - everyone has a target to practise now in their Reading Record and timestables to refer to. It is really important to keep going over all of them as well as starting new facts, especially the division facts. In English we have continued work on Narratives looking at use of inverted commas " " in the Oliver Twist story as well as looking at his character.
Wednesday was our trip to the Museum of Science and Industry which was fun packed from start to finish. We were truly proud of their behaviour but even better how much they learnt - which they recounted in their writing - well done! Thanks again to Mrs Bentley, Mr Round and Mrs Mcdonald for coming along to join our fun!
Special well done to everyone for your performance of the poem 'Autumn Days' in Friday's celebration assembly - children still had plenty of energy left at the end of a busy half term.
