Well done to all children for a fantastic week.
Thanks so much to all of you who were able to make our Christingle Service at the Norcliffe Chapel - the children loved singing and telling you all about what Christingle means.
Our trip to Styal Mill was fun packed with lots of hands on activities and learning all about how children lived in the Apprentic house. Playing in the garden during lunch was also mentioned as one of their favourite parts of the trip!
The children also enjoyed describing about the Giant and his Garden - they have certainly used their imaginations and all their work is taking pride of place on the Writing wall - well done !
Stars of the week:
Y3 Alfie Austin for making a huge effort in his descriptive writing and presentation
Y4 Penny for always being a superb role model in all areas of school life - work and play!
Next week we will be learning about money and estimating as well as reading and performing poetry.
Bye for now
