Our second week of November

We started our week by trying some yummy buns that were baked in the style of Thomas Farriner (he was the baker that they believed caused the Great Fire of London.) These buns have inspired us to plan our own baking.

In addition to this, we received a royal package, a curious box - we didn't know where it had come from until we discovered a hat inside that belonged to the Queen! Coincidentally, we also received a book called the Queen's Hat, perhaps the story in the book will tell us how the hat got here.

We have been buying lots of goodies to help raise money for the British Legion, this was all because tomorrow is Remembrance Day and we think it is important to remember and appreciate our troops!
