Our trip out

This week we visited Quarry Bank Mill, it is really close to our school however there's so much to do and learn there that every time we visit it feels like a new experience.

We took a woodland walk and saw some ducks in the pond. This pond led into the River Bollin, it looked really shallow but ran really fast. 

We took 'snapshots' of the buildings, focusing on the patterns, shapes and colours. This inspired us to do some awesome art back at school. 

Our trip will be the focus of our writing, which will recount what we saw and experienced.
